4. Notice what Gad the seer tells David to do in v.18 and where he instructs him to do it. What’s significant about this location? (consult 2 Chronicles 3:1)

5. The narrator could have ended the book with Ch. 22:1-23:7 (David’s song of praise to the Lord) or Ch. 23:8-39 (a tribute to great men of valor), but instead the author ends it with Chapter 24. Why do you think the narrator chose to end 1-2 Samuel with this story?
